Greetings! My name is Vana Booth, I have been the secretary of St. Joseph’s school for the past ten wonderful years. I am the first person that any new parent will talk to for information on our school or meet for registration forms. I try to alleviate new parent’s concerns about their little ones taking that big step of starting school for the first time. For our established parents the professional level is there, however after so many years we have become friends. St Joseph, as my work place, feels like family. Believing that love, laughter, prayers and smiles will help us work through any situation, makes for a better life. I believe Catholic education is well worth the difficulty of paying tuition. Our children are our most beloved gifts so we should all want the best our faith has to offer. Attending Catholic school remains with us all of our lives. On a more personal note, I married my high school sweetheart almost 37 years ago! Ray and I have two children, Irene Marie is 26 years old. She went to Charleston , SC for college, graduated and never moved back to Ohio. Now we have a great vacation place and no longer have to pay hotel bills! Josiah Nicholas is 21 years old and is a senior collegian seminarian attending the Pontificial College Josephinum in Columbus, OH. Fortunately travel time is much less than Charleston so we do get to see him a little more often. We both strongly believe in our Catholic faith and schools. Both of our children attended St. Clement School (that being my home parish) and graduated from Central Catholic. Hope to see you when it is time for your child to attend St. Joseph School! |
