My name is Eileen Sellers, and I teach second grade. This is my 8th year at St. Joseph’s, and I love being back at my alma mater. I grew up in this school and parish and value the sense of community and family I feel teaching here at St. Joe’s. I also went to Central Catholic High School, John Carroll University, and am currently finishing up my Masters at Walsh University. As you can see, I’ve been exposed to Catholic education all my life. The part I enjoy most about teaching second grade is helping to prepare the children for their sacraments. Witnessing their joy and excitement at making their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist is a true blessing. I am the oldest of ten children, and I’ve had the opportunity to see my younger siblings grow in their years at St. Joseph’s. I’ve never taught any of them, but it’s been nice being in the same school with them. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and cheering on the Cleveland Browns and Notre Dame Football team. |
